As the region’s premier master commercial developer, Yanchep Beach Joint Venture (YBJV) plays a pivotal leadership and development role in one of Australia’s largest and most transformative urban development projects, The Yanchep Project. Although the Joint Venture has a total project area exceeding 600ha, its current focus is a 106-ha site development that will become the future Yanchep Central Business District (CBD). 

The new Yanchep CBD will be built around the Yanchep Train Station (expected mid-2024) and will deliver more than 20,000 new jobs to the locality. The Yanchep Innovation, Research, and Entrepreneurial Hub (or Y.hub for short) is a YBJV initiative that brings together tertiary institutions, government, and businesses to facilitate and grow social and economic capacity. The principal objective of the Y.hub is to generate economic and social activity capable of being scaled up for relocation to the new CBD.
